Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

| Societies | Lincoln’s JCR was founded in 1854 and it is located at the bottom of staircase 5. It is equipped with a communal kitchen, social spaces, and workspaces. This area is where most social events are held, including sports events, ‘bops’, art events, and more. The Lincoln College MCR is the oldest in Oxford and provides a home for around 300 graduate students. Similarly to the JCR, the MCR holds events including the Lincoln Leads seminar series, auctions, dinners, and many cultural events. As well as these events, there are over 300 university societies you can join. |
| Accommodation | Most undergraduate accommodation is found centrally, a short walk from the main College site. All first-year students have accommodation in main College or on Turl Street and all these rooms have en-suite bathrooms. After the first year, ballots determine which rooms students will be allocated, and these rooms are found a short 10-minute walk away. More information can be found here. At Lincoln College, most graduate students can be accommodated but this is not guaranteed, and the College doesn’t offer accommodation for couples or families, but it can be arranged via the university. There are three complexes for graduates and all rooms have access to the kitchen and some have en-suite bathrooms. These rooms are located on Bear Lane, Museum Road, and Little Clarendon Street. | Sports | Lincoln College has its own sports ground at Bartlemas Road with access to tennis courts, squash courts, and there are many sports teams for male and female students to join, most of which require no previous experience to join. Additionally, Lincoln College supports ‘Blues’ students, who compete in their respective sports for the University against other universities. |
| Welfare | The Lincoln College has a Chaplain who is ready to talk about any concerns that students may have. Like other colleges, some students act as peer supports who are also available for support. The common rooms have events such as welfare teas, film nights, and more to help students feel more comfortable and relieve some stress. There is also support available for students needing support for disabilities, health conditions or any other conditions. |
