When I was applying to university Oxford seemed like a far-off dream, something unattainable and for people much smarter than me. I’m incredibly lucky that my teachers managed to convince me to submit an application as now I’m living that far-off dream!
How did you find the programme?
An Google search – I tried to find as much information as I could before deciding if to apply or not.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
My tutor helped me to build confidence – something I was seriously lacking. It helped to be able to talk to a current student and realise that they’re just normal students like me. I could visualise myself studying at Oxford after this.
In terms of the course, the BMAT preparation resources were incredible. The concept of an admissions test was terrifying to me to begin with however the amount of lessons and self-study material meant I was actually very prepared.
A bit about you
I’m currently studying at Oxford and aspire to work in cancer research in the future. Applying to Oxford is daunting and I wanted additional support.

Highlights of the course were BMAT and interview preparation. For BMAT the addition of the online course with practice questions and videos was really helpful for when I wanted to recap what I’d been doing in my tutoring sessions or study ahead.
