A bit about you
I applied to Cambridge after taking a gap year. I did unexpectedly well in my A-Levels so decided to aim high! During my gap year I did some online coding courses and decided that a career in tech was what I wanted to do. Cambridge was alway a bit of a punt (excuse the pun) but I went for it.
How did you find the programme?
I wanted some extra help so found some companies online. Oxbridge Mind stood out to me and I arranged a free consultation.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
The team were phenomenal. I liked that I could easily communicate with my tutor outside of lessons, for example if I had a quick question about a college or something I wouldn’t have to wait until my next lesson. The lessons themselves were well structured and I felt like they prepared me well.

I went to Cambridge for a STEM programme in Year 10 and instantly decided that I was going to study here when it came to time to decide which universities to apply for.

It was inspiring to talk with my tutor who had been in my shoes only a few years ago. They were passionate about the course which rubbed off on me and definitely helped at interview when they asked why I wanted to study there.
