A bit about you
None of my family have been to university before. So when I decided to apply to Oxford it was like entering a whole new world. I was lucky my school were very supportive but with so many other students also applying I felt like I wanted some extra help. You only tend to apply to university once and I knew I wanted to give it everything I had.
How did you find the programme?
Partly word-of-mouth because my friends applying for Medicine have used the services before.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
It was beyond helpful! For me the TSA resources were life-saving. I really liked the videos as I used them to revise key topics in between lessons with my tutor. It meant that I didn’t have to worry about getting everything he said down on paper and could really listen to what he was saying there and then.
A bit about you
The minute I decided I was applying for Oxford, my Mum went and told everyone I had been accepted and was going in September – talk about pressure! There’s just something about Oxford that makes going to university a little bit more special. I knew I had a decent shot and wanted to maximise my chances. Of course, I also couldn’t let my Mum down.

How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
The framework set out by my tutor was really helpful. I did a lot of extra-curriculars so it was helpful that the tutors were flexible and worked around my timetable. If I went a week without a lesson they were helpful by setting out work and revision for me to do instead. I felt supported.
