A bit about you
I always knew I wanted to study Medicine, and after GCSEs, I decided to go for Oxford. However, coming from a state school background, there wasn’t really anyone at school or in my personal life that had experience of going to Oxford so I knew I’d need professional help.
How did you find the programme?
Like most people I guess, through Google! I applied to a few different programmes but the one with Oxbridge Mind really stood out, as they were specialists in Medicine.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
It was so helpful! Having a dedicated tutor, who was currently on the course I wanted to apply to, meant I could ask questions and get an insight into what they wanted me to prove. The practice questions were really useful too, as i could work through them in my own time.
A bit about you
I’ve always wanted to study at Cambridge, and I have wanted to be a doctor since I was about 5.
How did you find the programme?
I found the site through ads- I think my phone must have been listening to me complain! I went to the YouTube channel and saw what the programme was like, then booked myself in for a consultation.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
It was immensely useful. I liked how everything was set by a central team, meaning that when I had to change my first tutor due to a schedule change, my second tutor had the same materials. The general service was excellent. Any problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
A bit about you
My dad is a doctor, and I have always wanted to be like him. I knew I wanted to go to the top university, but when it came to getting started on the application, I genuinely didn’t know how to begin.
How did you find the programme?
A friend of mine used their sister company, Medic Mind, to get his place for Medicine at Bristol the year before me, and he said that they were really helpful. I booked in a consultation with my dad and he was really impressed with their insights, so we went ahead.
How did it help with your Oxbridge application?
My tutor was great and it was good to have someone who had been through the experience themselves. Having to revise all the science content for the BMAT and interviews really helped to boost my A Level score, and I was more confident with the basics once I started my course too.

I come from Hong Kong. My brother studied at Cambridge a few years ahead of me, so I wanted to follow in his footsteps. After looking at the courses, I decided to apply for Oxford.
