I am a chemical enthusiast who has always been interested in the way atoms and molecules combine to form the world around us.
What was your favourite part about the chemistry summer school?
The hands-on laboratory experiments were my favourite part of the Chemistry Summer School. It was thrilling to walk into the lab each day and watch the wonder of chemistry emerge in front of my eyes. The physical and practical components of the topic intrigued me, from mixing chemicals to seeing colourful responses.
How did it help with your Oxbridge chemistry application?
The Chemistry Summer School aided my Oxbridge application by allowing me to interact with prominent academics and specialists in the area. During the summer school, their advice and mentorship provided me with a deeper understanding of the subtleties of chemistry as well as the most recent research achievements. This exposure to cutting-edge research, as well as the ability to debate complicated issues with senior academics, surely bolstered my candidature.
