A bit about you
My interest in studying biology has always been sparked by Oxford University’s renowned reputation and top-notch biology programmes. My objectives fully complement the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching and research.
What was your favourite part about the biology summer school?
My best part of the Biology Summer School was having exclusive access to the top-secret underground laboratory. I felt like I had wandered into a science fiction movie set! We got the opportunity to take part in cutting-edge scientific projects and watch groundbreaking experiments that pushed the boundaries of our understanding of biology.
How did it help with your Oxbridge biology application?
The summer school’s extensive curriculum included a wide range of biological sciences and offered in-depth instruction. I was able to do really well in my interviews and demonstrate that I understood the biological concepts.
A bit about you
Oxford has produced some of the most creative minds due to its rich biological legacy and culture. Being able to learn from renowned experts and be a part of an environment that values originality and critical thinking excites me.
What was your favourite part about the biology summer school?
The camaraderie among the attendees made the event much more enjoyable. We formed study groups and collaborated on research subjects, fostering a welcoming and helpful environment. The late-night discussions and debates were inspiring and fascinating from an intellectual standpoint.
How did it help with your Oxbridge biology application?
Participating in the Oxford Biology Summer School added legitimacy to my Oxbridge application. I thought it was fair to emphasise my participation in Oxbridge Mind’s summer programme as proof of my commitment to a biological career and my willingness to go above and beyond in my academic pursuits, given the school’s well-established reputation for academic prowess in biology.
