Darwin College was founded in 1964 and is the oldest and largest of the Cambridge colleges for graduates. With over 800 members from over 70 different countries, Darwin College prides itself on its diversity, as it was the first college to admit men and women as both, students and fellows. Darwin has a range of societies, sports and events available for students to enjoy as they make the most of the college’s impressive facilities.

Accommodation | Most of the accommodation available is on or near the main College site, with a further range of rooms and studios available at St Edmund’s College. The College offers all new students the chance to live in college accommodation during their first year, with accommodation also offered in subsequent years if students wish to stay on. Kitchens and bathrooms are generally shared, although some options do include en suite rooms. Beds, wardrobes, drawers, desks and chairs are provided in the bedrooms. Prices range from £104 per week to £202 per week. |
Sports | Darwin College offers a host of sports, with badminton, basketball, football, pool and rugby being some of the more popular options. There is also a fitness room with a free membership that students can use at any time. |
Welfare | Students will be assigned a personal tutor who can provide advice and support on both, academic and non-academic issues. Darwin College also offers a college counselling service for those who would like to access additional support. The Porter’s Lodge also has a number of staff who are trained in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. |
