Trinity Hall College was founded in 1350, making it the fifth-oldest College in Cambridge.  The student body consisting of 380 undergraduate students, 230 postgraduate students and around 60 fellows.  While it originally only taught Law, Trinity Hall is now well known for its focus on the Sciences, the Arts and Humanities, with former alumni including figures like Stephen Hawking and Nobel Prize winner David Thouless.

Accommodation

Trinity Hall offers accommodation to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.  All rooms are fully furnished with access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities.  Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with the rest of the rooms having access to shared bathroom facilities.  Undergraduate students are guaranteed accommodation for the duration of their time at Trinity Hall, whereas postgraduate students are guaranteed accommodation for at least their first year of study.  Rooms vary from £130 per week to £205 per week

Sports

Trinity Hall members can make use of the facilities at the Wychfield site, which includes sports fields and courts designed for football, rugby, squash and many more sports.  There is also a gym at this location for students to make use of.

Welfare

The College has a Nurse who can assist with any concerns for both undergraduate students as well as postgraduate students.  In addition to this, there is also a College based Counsellor for students to receive support and advice from in regards to their mental health.

Miscellaneous
  • The Trinity Hall Archive is rich with material from the 16th century including manuscripts, property deeds, charters and more
  • Trinity Hall is home to multiple gardens which students are allowed to sit and socialize in.  This includes the popular Latham lawn where students regularly congregate in the summer
  • Trinity hall Music Room is equipped with a drum kit, electric keyboards, amps, a grand piano and a double-manual harpsichord.  This is a wide space available for instrumental practice, rehearsals and recitals
