Selwyn College was founded in 1882 in the memory of George Augustus Selwyn. It consists of 3 main courts, giving the College site an old-fashioned, rustic appearance. Selwyn has a history of strong academic performances, ranking first amongst the Cambridge Colleges in the Tompkins Table in 2008 and finishing fifth more recently in 2019. Students can enjoy a blend of the old and the new as they study in a historic site and take part in a variety of fun extracurricular activities.
