St. Edmund's College (Cambridge): Detailed Guide, General Information and Contacts

Compare (0)

St Edmund’s College was founded in 1896.  It is the second oldest of the four Cambridge Colleges that are oriented to mature students and was named after St Edmund of Abingdon.  While it maintains classic Cambridge traditions, St Edmund’s also modernises them, as it is one of the few Colleges to allow undergraduates, postgraduates and fellows to mix over dinner and other activities.  It is also well known for its sporting exploits, with a team of four rowers from the College breaking the world record for ‘Longest Continual Row’ in September 2017.
