Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

Accommodation | The majority of undergraduate accommodation is on the main College site, with a few student houses also located close to the main site. All bedrooms are fully furnished, with a variety of en-suite rooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Kitchens are fully equipped with ovens, hobs, microwaves and fridges. Rent varies from £1650 per term to £2218 per term. Murray Edwards College also has a variety of accommodation for postgraduate students. There are some rooms available on the main College site, consisting of 40 en-suite bedrooms, as well as several houses located a short distance from the main site. Prices vary from £7010 for 39 weeks total to £8990 for 50 weeks. |
Sports | Murray Edwards have balls, cones, squash rackets, tennis rackets and more equipment available on site, as well as squash courts, tennis courts, netball courts and a gym. There are a range of sports societies for students to choose from that train and play at all levels of ability. |
Welfare | Murray Edwards College have their own College Nurse who can provide advice and support. As well as this, there is a College Counsellor who can aid students in their mental wellbeing, as well as referring students on to other more appropriate services if required. Students can also speak to their personal tutors about both academic and non-academic concerns. |
