Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

Accommodation | Queens’ College provides 3 years of accommodation for undergraduate students, with rooms located either on the main site or off site on Owlstone Croft. All rooms are fully furnished with central heating and shared kitchen facilities. Some rooms come with en-suite facilities, with the remaining rooms having shared bathrooms. Rooms vary in price from £1320 to £2880 per quarter. Accommodation is also available for postgraduate students as well, with the majority of these rooms located off the main College site. There are also limited accommodation options available for couples and a nursery for pre-school children. |
Sports | Queen’s College has a variety of sport teams, with students able to choose from hockey, netball, rowing, sailing, tennis and many more. Students can make use of excellent facilities at Barton Road Sports Ground a short distance away from the main College site |
Welfare | Students can talk to their Colle Tutors for advice and support on personal, financial and academic issues. Tutors work closely with the Health and Wellbeing Team and can liaise with the Director of Studies, Welfare Advisers or College Nurses to provide further support |
