Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

| Financial support | A series of funds, including the Bell, Abbot and Barnes Funds, as well as the Crane’s Charity Fund, are available for students who encounter unexpected financial difficulties. | Accommodation | Lucy Cavendish College aims to accommodate all its students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, for at least the first 3 years of their studies. All rooms are furnished with a single bed, desk, chair, lamp, wardrobe, drawers, shelves and a noticeboard. Students will also have access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Undergraduate students are generally located on site, whereas graduate accommodation is located a short distance from the main College campus |
| Sports | Lucy Cavendish College has a gym on site and runs free or subsidized exercise classes. There is a Sports Centre a short distance away from the main site that has a variety of equipment and space for students to utilize. Students can choose from a multitude of sports, including football, rugby, badminton, tennis and many more. |

Students can access these services to receive support and advice relating both to physical and mental wellbeing.
