Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

| Accommodation | Sidney Sussex guarantees undergraduate students accommodation for the full duration of their course. All rooms are single occupancy and fully furnished with a mixture of rooms with en-suite facilities and rooms with shared bathroom facilities. As well as this, each room has access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities. Rooms vary from £1421 per term to £1669 per term. Sidney Sussex College also offers all postgraduate students accommodation for at least the first year of their studies. This is usually in a College-owned hostel situated in the city centre. Each hostel has 6-12 rooms as well as shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Postgraduate rooms vary from £142 to £167 per week. |
