Worcester College was founded in the 18th century and is known for its 26 acres of beautiful grounds featuring numerous green spaces, ducks, an orchard, and the College sports field. The College values welfare very highly and has a number of avenues of support for College members with any kind of problem. There are generally 3 bops a term, where two take place in the college bar, and the third takes place in a club. Other regular social events include themed evenings, comedy nights, and charity auctions amongst other events.

Accommodation | King’s College offers accommodation to all undergraduate students for the duration of their course. Most of these rooms are on the main college site, with the remaining rooms in blocks located a few minutes’ walk from the site. Rooms vary in size, shape and age, with all rooms fully furnished. All students have access to shared kitchen facilities as well as central laundry rooms. Rooms range from £1280 per term to £1916 per term. King’s College also offers rooms to all graduate students where possible, guaranteeing at least 2 years of accommodation to each student. All rooms are fully furnished and located a short distance from the College’s main site. Rooms range from £1550 per term to £2365 per term. |
Sports | Students can take part in a range of sports at King’s College including volleyball, cricket, football, kayaking and many more. There are a range of tennis courts, squash courts and playing fields all a short distance from the College. |
Welfare | The College has its own nurse to provide advice and treatment. There is also a Mental Health Advisor, as well as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to provide services to support mental health. Students can also receive both academic and non-academic from their personal tutors or their Director of Studies. |
